Niki is a retired colonel whose son is abducted by a fatal accident. Her daughter, Angela, and her son-in-law, Flo’s son, are about to leave Romania for the United States. Flo, remnant of the bohemian of the 70s, is a key to everything, fan of amateur video whose nature of repressed tyrant will be exercised on Niki. He will strip the latter of his meagre material possessions, of his moral values and of “the awareness of his dignity”.
