Daniel is a former police officer who has been converted to debt collection. Well in his fifties, he does his "dirty work" without emotion or affect... One winter day, in a trucker's parking lot, he is approached by Laura, an 18-year-old girl who asks him to take her home. He accepts. Along the way, she offers him "her services" for money. Furious, Daniel throws him out of his car. The remorse and the violence of his reaction push him to turn around and retrace his steps, but Laura has disappeared...
