Southern Spain, in the 1920s. Carmen is a beautiful girl whose childhood was haunted by a raging mother-in-law. Fleeing a past that she no longer remembers, Carmen will make an unusual encounter: a travelling troop of midget bullfighters who will adopt him and give him the nickname of "Blancanieves".
